Volunteers with the Canberra Community Centre are also known as grassroots leaders. Grassroots leaders are the leaders at the ground who will generate community bonding and social cohesion. You can choose to become a volunteer with either the Residents' Committee or any of the CC sub-committees (for more information on sub-committee, refer to 'About Us' in the website).
Grassroots leaders are entitled to some privileges in recognition of their contributions towards the betterment of the society, eg special parking label, priority scheme in primary school registration.
